As an Assistant Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the reporting and analysis of our site's performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is part-qualified or eager to begin a career in finance, as full training will be provided. You don't need extensive experience or industry knowledge—just enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting the site finance team in reporting site performance
2. Daily and weekly KPI reporting
3. Daily and weekly site variance reporting
4. Monthly stock reconciliations
5. Monitoring and posting of prepayments & accruals
6. Analysis of site overheads
7. Tracking of capital project costs
8. Assisting with regular forecasting of site performance
9. Annual budgeting of site performance
10. ERP system interrogation
11. Managing all site master data, including item master, BOMs, supplier pricing agreements, and customer price lists
12. Assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system
