How you’ll make an impact: We are looking for a Director of Product who will operate as a critical, high-influence individual contributor within the Product organisation, helping to shape the future of Travelport’s Product Portfolio, from Agent Applications to complex, high-volume APIs. In this role, you will own the development and implementation of complex product strategies across a diverse portfolio, driving the evolution of how agencies access, connect, sell and automate their travel operations. You will be expected to combine deep product management craft, commercial acumen, and technical understanding (APIs, data, and AI principles) to deliver world-class experiences for internal and external customers. This is a role for a strategic builder, someone who thrives in ambiguity, leads through influence, and can translate vision into actionable outcomes across engineering, design, data, and commercial teams. Your role in action: •Drive objectives for several key functionalities and build out significant new products over time. •Build a deep understanding of Travelport’s product and customer/user journey and work collaboratively with the product and technology teams to develop an optimised and aligned set of epics. •Define, monitor and analyse metrics for launched products and feed learnings back into the product development process. •Ship software products successfully and manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building. •Clearly communicate product strategy, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a wide range of audiences, from immediate internal stakeholders to all Travelport employees. Could this be you? •Proven experience in developing complex products in travel technology, marketplace, or platform environments, delivering large-scale products. •Proven ability to craft and deliver compelling narratives that connect product vision to business outcomes, effectively influencing executives and aligning cross-functional teams •Experience leading and building product culture in complex environments, and able to foster and grow the culture across the broader product organisation. •Strong understanding of API ecosystems, automation, and data analytics. •Familiarity with AI-native product design, intelligent automation, and emerging LLM-based capabilities to enhance decision-making and user experiences Discover why our teams love working here Where do we start!
