Local Visits | Flexible Hours | £13.05 to £20.02 per hour

At Home Instead Tedburn St Mary, we support older adults in the local community with thoughtful, unhurried visits that help them stay safe, independent, and connected. Whether you're returning to work, semi-retired, or simply want to do something rewarding with your spare time — this could be the role that makes all the difference.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Visiting regular clients in and around Tedburn St Mary

2. Offering companionship and emotional support

3. Helping with everyday tasks like meals, errands, light housework, and medication

4. Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, or support with mobility

5. Building real relationships with local people who value your time and presence

Pay and Benefits

6. £13.05 to £20.02 per hour

Entry rate: £13.05

Higher rates apply for those with NVQ Level 3 qualifications and bank holiday shifts

7. Paid mileage at 40p per mile

8. Paid travel time between visits

9. Flexible part-time hours to suit your lifestyle

10. Full training provided – no previous experience needed

You’ll be given time to care properly, matched with regular clients, and supported to build real trust and routine with the people you visit.

What You’ll Need

13. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car

14. A kind, respectful nature and willingness to support with personal care

15. Availability for part-time weekday/weekend and/or evening hours
