We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as a Service Performance Officer.

Middlesbrough Council is looking for a motivated and dynamic Service Performance Officer to lead and enhance our Councillor Gateway system while supporting high-quality service delivering across Environment, Community and Culture services.
To be successful in this role you need to be educated to a high standard of education.
As a Service Performance Officer (Councillor Gateways), you will play a key role in ensuring councillor enquiries, which are often complex, multi-departmental and community-impacting are resolved efficiently and professionally.
You will co-ordinate the Business Support team, monitor service performance, support digital improvement, and work collaboratively across the Council to deliver effective solutions.
You will be the primary contact for councillors using the Gateway system, ensuring they receive timely updates, clear communication, and confident support.
Please note this is a fixed term post due to end on 31.03.2027.
