The post holder will be responsible for leading internal TAS projects with the aim of delivering the requirements on time, within the designated budget and to the required quality standards of the internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
First point of contact for the project within TAS
Lead meetings as required with internal stakeholders, alongside taking and agreeing minutes and noting actions
Leadership of a project team where applicable
Lead project progress meetings and ensuring minutes and actions are taken and followed up
Escalation to Programme Management of any issues not able to be resolved at the project level
Ensuring that all stakeholders are fully aware of the project schedule and any changes that may be implemented
Ownership of project deliverables
Establishment and Maintenance of the project schedule to include agreed changes to any project deliverables
Ensure internal gate reviews occur in line with project milestones and that checklist are adhered to by all departments
Reporting project status
Weekly reporting of project status to internal stakeholders using the agreed format
Report to Programme Management on a weekly basis in relation to schedule, risk and cost
Attempt to resolve any issues at the project level in the first instance but should this not be achievable escalate to Programme Management
Identify and mitigate Project Level risks and issues
Review of the risk register weekly to ensure risks and mitigation actions are tracked
Maintain an accurate action tracker that contains all open tasks and issues with ECD against each item along with owners for each task
Understanding of the project baseline so that change management may be applied

Requirements
Essential
Experience of working in a project / programme management environment
Understanding of Project Profit & Loss
Educated to GCSE Level, Grades A*-C, or equivalent (including Maths & English)
Strong understanding of process and the ability to deal with multiple tasks and progress these to successful conclusions
Excellent communication skills with demonstrable experience of using these skills successfully in a commercial environment
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Desirable
Degree educated in Engineering, Science, Business or a related field
Hold/looking to achieve a formal PM Qualification for e.g. PRINCE 2 Practitioner, AGILE Practitioner
