What will I be doing?
* Advising and assisting the public on how to use the site to maximize recovery of deposited materials.
* Maintaining accurate records of material removal and all site activities.
* Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with relevant personnel, ensuring the site has space to segregate and store materials correctly.
* Keeping the site tidy and organized.
* Ensuring compliance with legal duties regarding health, safety, and welfare of employees and others affected by site activities.
* Cooperating with SUEZ R & R UK Ltd and colleagues to meet site permit requirements and adhere to policies and legislation.
* Undertaking first aider and fire warden duties on site.
* Performing any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about household waste recovery and recycling.
