Job Description
* Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and business plans for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies/LLP's.
* Overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
* Nurturing client relationships and offering tax and accounting advice supported by the Client Manager.
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
* Assist in implementing cloud-based software for clients and providing financial health checks for clients.
* Assisting on ad hoc projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Senior should have:
* A professional qualification (ACA, AAT, ACCA etc.) in Accounting or a related field.
* Proven experience within a similar role in the accountancy sector.
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
* Excellent team leadership skills and a collaborative approach to work.
* Exceptional client management skills with a keen eye for new business opportunities.
* Experience of implementing and maintaining financial systems and procedures.
