Job Title: Service Contract Manager
To ensure the profitable, efficient, and safe operation of the HEY contract, including all peripheral services supplied to clients, either directly or outsourced. Responsible for delivering quality service to all customers in accordance with legislative requirements and company procedures, while ensuring effective financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of direct costs and overheads.
Ultimately responsible for debt management, dispute resolution, accurate invoicing, and timely cash collection in line with targets. Manage all managers within your portfolio, overseeing recruitment, work scheduling, training, and pay and conditions. Aim to retain existing business and support the sales team in achieving growth targets for new work.
Health & Safety Purpose
Take direct management responsibility for health and safety of yourself and others affected by your work. Collate and own the area Health & Safety plan covering your specific responsibilities.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of all services on the contract to meet contractual obligations and strategic objectives.
* Complete monthly trading review slides for the senior team meeting.
* Complete the monthly balance score sheet for the senior team.
* Maintain full P&L accountability for your contract, managing within budget to maximize revenue and gross margin.
* Approve monthly payroll payments and submit to Pay10 by the 1st of each month.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, including payroll breakdowns, comparisons to Power BI reports, wages, holiday, sickness, and overtime. Send holiday trackers and stock takes.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Hold current Health & Safety certification - IOSH.
* Achieved at least a BIFM Award; a qualification certificate is preferred.
* Knowledge of other soft services and experience in delivery is advantageous.
* Experience managing a multi-site, service-based, low-margin healthcare business with a minimum turnover of £5m.
* Proven track record in operational management with full P&L accountability, ideally within the service industry.
