Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker - RACE Clinic
The closing date is 17 February 2026
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a well motivated, kind and caring individual to join a well established, nationally recognised Same Day Emergency Care clinic. RACE Clinic is an SDEC clinic which supports older patients to be assessed, diagnosed and managed/discharged the same day without the need for a lengthy hospital admission. Referrals are taken from the emergency department and community services including GPs with older patients presenting with a variety of clinical medical conditions. We are looking for a dedicated band 3 nurse to join our team, to support patients through this process through direct caregiving and to convey patients to diagnostics throughout the hospital. The clinic is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner led service so the successful candidate will report directly to the ACP team. This is a full-time position with hours currently Monday - Friday 9-5pm.
