ARC Recruitment is working with a reputable Groundworks contractor seeking a Site Manager to oversee a Groundworks project starting ASAP. The successful candidate will have experience managing and working on groundworks projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of groundworks, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
2. Manage Groundworkers to adhere to the project schedule and health and safety regulations.
3. Ensure timely delivery and good condition of materials and equipment.
4. Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports; provide updates to the Project Manager.
5. Manage and resolve issues during the project, including design changes, disputes, and delays.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years of experience managing and working as a Groundworks Site Manager from start to finish.
2. Proven track record of delivering commercial build projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
7. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
8. Certifications: SMSTS, 3 Day First Aid, CSCS Card.
Job Details:
* Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: Up to £65K plus package
* Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
* Experience: Minimum 5 years management experience
