Spire Alexandra Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Perioperative Practitioner in Orthopaedics to join their friendly and dedicated team on a bank basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading private hospitals and advance your career.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Caring for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
2. Providing exemplary planned care for patients during the perioperative stage.
3. Assisting in the management and organization of care within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department.
4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
5. Assessing patient needs, implementing, and evaluating their care.
Who we're looking for:
* NMC registered nurse with an unrestricted pin.
* Minimum of 2 years of major Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience covering Hips/Knees/Shoulder/Spinal caseloads in a surgical/theatre setting.
* Experience in providing planned perioperative care and assisting in surgical procedures.
* Motivated and comfortable working in challenging yet rewarding environments.
Working Hours: Shifts available Monday to Saturday, 07:30 - 18:00.
