We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Hackney that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their dedicated team on a supply basis.
The school offers a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching, collaborative planning, and positive student outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Planning and implementing challenging schemes of work aligned with the UK curriculum
* Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress
* Providing timely feedback to support student achievement
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency
* Supporting and leading extracurricular History activities where required
You’ll need:
* A degree in History or a related subject
* Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4
* Strong knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A collaborative and proactive approach
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
