Main duties of the job
About the Role
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will:
Assess adults with a range of disabilities and health conditions, enabling them to live as independently and safely as possible.
Use a strengths-based approach to promote independence, providing advice, equipment, minor and major adaptations, rehousing support, and care recommendations.
Work collaboratively with our Moving & Handling Review Specialist OT to develop skills in care review and risk management.
Manage your own diverse and rewarding caseload, providing a person-centred service within the framework of local government policy and legislation.
