The Role
This post forms part of the business support team and provides comprehensive secretarial and business administrative support to the Specialist Children’s Services Neurodevelopmental Waiting List Team in relation to waiting list management.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
Full‑time, Fixed Term – 23 months
Base location – Templeton Business Centre
Shift Pattern – 9 am – 5 pm
Key Responsibilities
* The post‑holder will link closely with leads of the Neurodevelopmental Waiting List Team to ensure waiting lists are managed effectively to meet targets and the business support processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner, including communication with clinical staff, managers, parents and children & young people who are waiting.
* The post‑holder will work independently for much of the time and demonstrate a clear understanding of the service, the waiting lists and targets and link with clinical team managers regularly to support smooth waiting list management.
* The post‑holder will also support the Clinical Leads with day‑to‑day admin tasks for their line management duties.
* This post requires in‑office work to work alongside the clinical leadership team.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job
* Competency in the use of a range of computer packages, evidenced by experience or formal qualification such as ECDL, and a recognised qualification in Administration equivalent to HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or SVQ in Administration at Level 3, or significant relevant equivalent practical experience in data analysis.
* Good knowledge of office procedures and systems, and prior experience in a secretarial or administrative role.
