Job Description
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.\n\nTeach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable).\n\nEncourage creativity and independent thinking through a range of artistic techniques and media.\n\nDevelop and maintain a stimulating classroom and studio environment that celebrates student work.\n\nPrepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations, including assessment, feedback, and moderation.\n\nOrganise and contribute to art exhibitions, displays, and enrichment activities.\n\nDifferentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.\n\nKeep accurate records of pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.\n\nWork collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school.\n\nUphold the school's safeguarding, behaviour and equal opportunities policies.\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.\n\nDegree in Art, Fine Art, or a related discipline.\n\nStrong subject knowledge, including practical skills and art history.\n\nAbility to inspire and engage students with diverse interests and abilities.\n\nExcellent organisational and communication skills.\n\nCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
