Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
2. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
3. Experience teaching Year 6 curriculum or similar age group
4. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
5. Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners
6. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders
7. Passion for creating engaging and stimulating learning experiences
Responsibilities:
8. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
9. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
10. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
11. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community
12. Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on pupil progress and addressing any concerns
13. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
14. Uphold school policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment for all.
