Overview
Permanent, Part Time (0.6). The School of Creative Industries at Kingston College is seeking a dynamic, proactive, highly organised and effective Course Leader to drive forward the Level 3 aspect in Digital Art, Animation and Games Design.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and teach tutorials on software and hardware, including Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3D Studio Max, various game engines, and the Adobe suite (After Effects, Animate, InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator). Knowledge of 3D printing, green screens, HD video/still cameras, motion‑capture VR is preferable.
* Produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, and supervise assessment.
* Provide internal verification and, if necessary, liaise with external verifiers/moderators.
* Coordinate the review and evaluation of courses.
* Support and monitor at‑risk learners to achieve or exceed their potential.
Qualifications
* Degree level or higher qualification.
* Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
* Recent and relevant continuous professional development.
* Strong record of delivering high‑quality learning programmes with demonstrably good outcomes.
* Excellent evidence‑based teaching, learning, and assessment in the field.
* High personal standards, good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills, and attention to detail.
