Key responsibilities:
Production of statutory accounts and managing client portfolio workflow
Preparation of bespoke management reports and board packs
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and general ledgers
Posting and reviewing accruals, prepayments, journals and adjustments
Preparation of VAT returns and involvement in Corporation and Income Tax assignments
Timely filing of clients' statutory obligations to HMRC
Building strong working relationships with clients and handling queries efficiently
What you'll need:
ACA or ACCA qualified OR QBE, with at least two years' experience working in professional practice
Experienced in financial control, reporting and forecasting commercially aware and analytically strong, with the ability to translate data into insight.
Comfortable managing multiple clients across varied business models, with strong attention to detail
A confident communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting platforms is a real advantage
Proactive, diligent, and able to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional client service
