Maintenance Engineer x2
Location: Site-Based
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE + Shift Allowance (x1.3)
Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts - 6am-6pm
Holidays: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
The Role
We are recruiting for 2 Maintenance Engineers to join a busy food manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on engineering role working across a fast-paced production environment, supporting machinery uptime, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment
Working on:
Conveyors
Freezers
Pumps
Motors
Control Panels
3 Phase Motors
PLC fault finding, primarily on Allen Bradley systems
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
Supporting continuous improvement projects
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to food manufacturing standards
Experience / Skills Required
Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing
Experience with PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley advantageous)
Electrical and mechanical engineering skills
Strong fault-finding abilities across automated machinery
Food manufacturing background advantageous
Training & Progression
PLC training provided
