Benenden Health has an exciting opportunity within its Finance Team, we are recruiting for a Fixed Term Contract - Finance Technician end date 30th April 2026.
In this Fixed Term role, you will:
* Deal with a variety of complex financial and administrative tasks within the department as required to satisfy departmental and Society objectives, and to provide effective support to colleagues at all levels.
* Purchase Ledger: includes payments to members and external suppliers, including hospitals, consultants and key accounts ensuring they are authorised and processed in an efficient, timely and accurate manner in line with policies and procedures.
* Taking ownership of personal workloads, prioritising tasks as required to meet business needs and annual operational plan objectives.
* Credit Control: checking transactions on membership records and collecting outstanding debt or issuing refunds.
* Telephone conversations with members giving information around transactions and payments.
* Adhering to policies and procedures and ensuring these are embedded within the business.
* The successful candidate will be highly organised, understand the importance of deadlines and work to these, have demonstrable experience in a financial or accounting support role(s).T
The Finance Team follows Benenden Health’s Smart Working principles and operates on a hybrid working basis. You will be expected to spend at least two days a week in the office with other team members and must be able to respond flexibly should additional time in the office be required to suit business needs.
