Job Description
As Applications & Training Senior Engineer you will be involved in key activities that include:
* Providing expert advice and support in the analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation of training solutions that meet Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) standards.
* Develop, release, and maintain complex Tactical C4I systems, focusing on applications within the Bowman system.
* Produce training packages for use by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
* Deliver work packages as part of an integrated project team, working through the system lifecycle from design to test and acceptance.
* Conduct DSAT compliant training analysis, design, and delivery in accordance with JSP 822 and DTSM 1-4.
* Monitor project schedules, report metrics, and track progress effectively.

Qualifications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and fault-finding abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate well-structured technical documents and presentations
* Experience in supporting and developing Tactical C4I Systems; knowledge of the BCIP system is desirable
* Proven experience in conducting DSAT compliant training analysis, design, and delivery within a Defence context
* Thorough understanding of JSP 822, DTSM 1-4, and other relevant Defence policies and guidelines
* A recognised qualification in Training Design and Delivery (e.g. ITOL / CIPD) or equivalent experience
* Defence Trainer Competency Framework (DTCF) certification or equivalent experience
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Additional Information
Salary for this position is £45,600 to £57,000, depending on experience plus our excellent flexible benefits package.
We offer hybrid working - for this role ideally we are looking for an average of 2 days per week per month on site.
