This role is being advertised on behalf of Littleborough Group Practice and the successful applicant will be directly employed by Littleborough Group Practice. The post is funded through the ARRS. The role is open to any GP who has not been substantively employed as a GP within any practice in Pennines PCN in the previous 12 months. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the National Medical Performers List are essential. Responsibilities
Deliver a balanced mix of face‑to‑face, telephone and online consultations Manage acute and chronic disease in line with practice protocols and QOF Contribute to same‑day urgent demand alongside the wider clinical team Review results, documents and tasks within agreed timeframes Work collaboratively with the MDT, PCN colleagues and external services Support the practice's training role where appropriate What we offer

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise Inclusion on the National Medical Performers List for England MRCGP or equivalent or CCT in General Practice Eligible to work in the UK Postgraduate qualifications relevant to general practice (e.g. diabetes, women's health, minor surgery, dermatology) Skills and Knowledge
Sound clinical judgement and safe, evidence‑based prescribing Strong communication and consultation skills for face‑to‑face, telephone and online sessions Effective time management and ability to work within appointment structures Understanding of safeguarding children and adults at the required level Commitment to clinical governance, audit and CPD Interest in supporting the training of GP registrars, medical students or other learners Special clinical interest that the practice could develop Other Requirements
