We are seeking a Policies & Procedures Analyst to join our team at Barclays. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of procedures, supporting the Policies & Procedures Manager in ensuring documents are accurate, compliant and fit-for-purpose. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to write, review and maintain operational and financial crime-related procedures, as well as provide support to business areas with day-to-day processing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.

To be successful as a Policies & Procedures Analyst, you should have experience with:
Previous experience in writing and managing procedures or process documentation.
Experience within financial crime, compliance or a regulated operations environment.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role will be located at our Glasgow office.
To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

They lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements and coordinating team resources.
Partner with other functions and business areas.
Escalate breaches of policies / procedure appropriately.
Take responsibility for embedding new policies/ procedures adopted due to risk mitigation.
Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to. Make evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organisation.
