Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 paid hours per week Option to move to a 2-shift pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm) as business requires Weekend flexibility and emergency nightshift cover may be required with notice Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for managing and executing preventative and reactive maintenance across all key site assets and manufacturing equipment. You'll contribute to a safe working environment, lead cost-reduction projects, improve equipment uptime, and play a key role in energy efficiency initiatives. Key Responsibilities Include: * Administer and schedule all site maintenance * Develop dashboards for maintenance visibility and cost analysis * Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs * Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance issues * Lead maintenance teams and oversee contractors on-site * Generate maintenance reports and source parts/quotations * Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines and site regulations * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Skills & Experience: * Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment * Strong fault-finding skills in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems * Experience working with engineering drawings and maintenance documentation * Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and performance reporting * Capable of working at height and in confined spaces as required * Effective communicator, highly organised, and detail-oriented * BTEC HNC in Engineering or equivalent * MEWP knowledge advantageous Why Should You Apply? * Excellent opportunity to grow within a stable, forward-thinking manufacturing business * Great variety of work – from hands-on repairs to strategic improvement projects * Make a measurable impact on asset performance, energy efficiency, and site safety * Be part of a professional team with autonomy and long-term career prospects * Competitive package and strong support for personal development
