About the Role
As a Client Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery. You'll act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships and providing proactive guidance on compliance and advisory matters. Key Responsibilities
1. Manage all aspects of a client portfolio, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
2. Develop strong client relationships, understanding their needs and building trust.
3. Oversee compliance work, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
4. Plan workloads, manage WIP, and monitor profitability.
5. Support Partners with strategic initiatives and contribute to business development.
6. Lead, motivate, and develop junior team members through coaching and feedback.
7. Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practices.
8. Stay up to date with legislation and technical developments, maintaining CPD records.
What We're Looking For
9. ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified with strong experience).
10. Proven experience in UK accountancy practice.
11. Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage complex client requirements.
12. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
13. Ability to lead and motivate a team while managing your own workload effectively.
14. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
