Finance Assistant
Salary: £28,000 per year (full-time equivalent)

About the role
Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce are searching for an experienced and highly-motivated Finance Assistant to join their team.
Working closely with the internal Finance team, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial and administration duties, responding to internal and external queries and managing daily imports, payments and invoices. You'll also assist your finance colleagues with administration, and support routine credit control processes.
Please note, this role is office-based at the Chamber's offices in Slough. Your working hours will be 9am - 5pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll be a pro-active team player who contributes to team and Chamber-wide objectives. You'll be personable and professional, with an ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Previous Chamber of Commerce experience is not essential, but you'll need to develop an knowledge of the Chamber and the work they do.
Essential requirements:
* Minimum AAT Level 2 or the same level of demonstrable experience.
* Significant experience of working with Sage 50.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, strong written and verbal English.
* Strong team player, with ability to multi-task & work independently under own initiative
* Competent using full Microsoft Office suite.
