Description
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
Cost management to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
Reporting and Compliance: Produce monthly management accounts and ensure timely completion of PAYE/VAT returns.
Financial Control and Procedures: Develop and implement financial controls and assist with financial systems transitions.
Cash Management: Plan and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity.
Operational Support: Handle invoicing, accounts receivable, payroll, and follow-up on overdue accounts.
Strategic Decision Making: Provide financial insights and monitor performance to support senior management.
Intercompany Transactions: Manage intercompany invoices and reconciliations.Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA). - Desirable
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
An ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance colleagues.
A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
