Futures is looking to appoint a commercially aware Sales Engineer to join a busy and fast-paced Tendering / Sales Team. You will play a pivotal role in managing and assessing customer Requests for Quotation, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive responses that support business growth. Roles and Responsibilities: As a Sales Engineer, you will act as the central coordinator within the tendering process. Your primary responsibility will be managing a high-volume mailbox and ensuring all request for quotations are reviewed, assessed, and progressed efficiently. Evaluate all inputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and commercial viability Prepare and issue “quick hit” quotations where applicable Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met Review RFQs received from customers via Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) Coordinate internally with the Technical Team to manage design returns Manage and assess supplier quotation returns Ensure all quotations are returned to customers in a timely and professional manner The Ideal Candidate Experience in a Sales Engineering, Tendering, or Technical Sales environment Strong understanding of RFQ and quotation processes Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of information High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness Ability to coordinate across sales, technical, and supplier functions
