Key Responsibilities
Account Management
• Build, manage, and grow strong relationships with key national & regional retail and wholesale partners
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maximizing opportunities through joint business plans
Business Development
• Spot and secure exciting new business opportunities with national retailers
• Create tailored, compelling propositions to win new listings and drive category growth
Commercial Management
• Take full ownership of P&L for your accounts, driving sales, margins, and profitability
• Lead pricing discussions, promotional planning, and trading term negotiations
• Track performance, forecast sales, and manage budgets with confidence
️ Category & Product Development
• Collaborate closely with product & marketing teams to identify market gaps and emerging SDA trends
• Help shape smart category strategies based on customer and consumer insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work hand-in-hand with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to deliver seamless account plans
• Provide clear sales reporting, market insights, and competitor analysis
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
Proven experience in sales, purchasing, or category management within SDA or consumer goods
Strong background managing national retail or key accounts (high-street retail experience is a plus)
Sharp commercial mindset with full P&L responsibility experience
Confident negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills
Strategic thinker who can spot and convert growth opportunities
Self-motivated, results-driven, and ready to make an impact
Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
Comfortable using Microsoft packages and CRM systems
