The Role
As a Test Automation Architect, you will lead a large size testing program which requires building a scalable and robust automation framework which can cater to customers business in warehouse management space. Candidate will have to work in close coordination with Heads of Engineering (HOE) and Product Owners. The Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing robust test strategies and automation frameworks tailored to the needs of logistics project. This role requires the Architect to work onshore, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Test Planning:
* Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies tailored to project needs.
* Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts using industry-standard tools.
Automation Framework Development:
* Design and develop automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts.
* Maintain and scale the automation codebase.
Performance and Security Testing:
* Conduct performance and security testing to ensure software reliability and security.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
* Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development process.
Tool and Technology Evaluation:
* Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies.
Must-Have:
* Proficiency in .NET technologies.
* Knowledge on Java is added advantage
* Strong experience in test automation.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
* Familiarity with cloud services.
* Understanding of architectural principles.
Good to have:
* Knowledge of performance and security testing tools.
* Familiarity with containerization and virtualization technologies.
