Who We Are Looking For?
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery and implementation of the company's software solutions within a structured project environment in the public healthcare sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to ensure that timelines are met, quality standards are maintained, regulatory requirements are respected, and high levels of stakeholder satisfaction are achieved.
The Project Manager will:
Support the planning, coordination and execution of software implementation projects within a regulated healthcare environment.
Coordinate activities required to configure and adapt solutions in line with agreed requirements, while maintaining standard processes and methodologies.
Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards relevant to the public healthcare sector.
Ensure accurate project documentation and provide regular progress reporting to the Implementation Manager.
Deliver user training, support change management activities, and provide first-line user support during implementation phases.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' Project Management experience in regulated healthcare environments.
Proven experience delivering Blood Bank / LIMS / BECS systems (e.g., eProgresa, MAK-System, MediWare, etc.) will be valued
Experience of managing IT implementations, better if bilingual (English/Welsh)
Knowledge of ISBT 128 and blood traceability standards.
Previous experience with the Welsh Blood Service or the Welsh National Health Service will be valued.
Certifications in project management: PMP, Agile PM or ITIL will be considered a plus
Currently living in Cardiff or within reasonable commuting distance (max 30–40 mins).

Operating systems: Windows and Linux platforms
Databases: Relational databases
Application servers: Tomcat or JBoss
Integration engines: Mirth or Rhapsody
Management tools: Jira and or Service Desk
