Our Skilled Baker rate of pay starts from £13.38 an hour; this increases to £14.59 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you can also work a minimum of 12 hours if you prefer flexibility.
Availability Window
* Sunday: 05:00 – 12:00
* Monday: 05:00 – 13:00
* Tuesday: 05:00 – 13:00
* Wednesday: 05:00 – 13:30
* Thursday: 05:00 – 11:00
* Saturday: 05:00 – 12:30
We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide up to three weeks’ notice of exact shift dates.
Responsibilities
* Know customers and serve them with passion and pride.
* Bake in waves for scratch products so customers receive fresh items throughout the day.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality.
* Adhere to all food hygiene, safety and allergen guidelines.
* Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within your department.
* Apply training received to work safely and effectively.
* Check emergency stop buttons and machine safety before operation; report any issues to the Shift Leader/Team Manager.
* Dispose of waste responsibly following food waste and recycling routines.
* Understand your store’s performance and contribute to service, sales, waste reduction and profit.
* Live our values, make everyone feel welcome and follow policies.
* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
