We are looking for an experienced Community and Stakeholder Engagement professional to join our team at CreekConnect, someone who thrives on building trust and creating meaningful connections with the Western Sydney community. You will lead engagement strategies, manage complex issues with empathy, and keep communities and customers informed throughout major works. Upper South Creek Network Project – Supporting Western Sydney’s Growth! Join CreekConnect and be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively. About the Role: Adapt to working across diverse project site locations, including the Parramatta office, Austral etc, to meet stakeholder and community needs Partner with Sydney Water’s delivery contractors to design and deliver effective engagement plans for impacted stakeholders, communities and customers Contribute as part of multi-disciplinary teams. Build strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Foster a positive team culture and take an active role in continuous improvement initiatives Demonstrate Sydney Water and CreekConnect values, ensuring the customer remains at the centre of everything we do About You: Previous experience in infrastructure projects, ideally within the water sector Familiarity with IAP2 principles (International Association for Public Participation) is an advantage Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, sustainability, environmental science, urban planning, engineering, social sciences or a related discipline Strong organisational skills with the ability to solve problems and think critically Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with emotional intelligence and empathy A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement Current driver’s licence, as travel to Western Sydney sites will be required Company Benefits: Health & Wellbeing – discounted health insurance, seasonal vaccinations, wellness discounts, fertility benefit and employee assistance program (EAP).
