Position: Registered Service Manager
Location: Near Hastings, Sussex
Salary: Up to £37,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Purosearch are representing a learning disability service located near Hastings, Sussex, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Service Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will either be an established Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager looking to step up to a management position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
2. Lead and support a team of staff, providing supervision, training, and development opportunities to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, policies, and procedures.
4. Develop and implement person-centred care plans, ensuring that all care is delivered in line with individual needs and preferences.
5. Build positive relationships with individuals, their families, and external stakeholders to enhance the quality of service delivery.
6. Monitor and maintain financial and resource management to ensure the service operates efficiently.
7. Take responsibility for the service’s performance, ensuring that quality audits and reviews are conducted regularly.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a management or senior role within learning disability or mental health services, ideally as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager.
2. NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
3. Strong understanding and experience of CQC requirements and maintaining high-quality service standards.
4. In-depth knowledge and experience of learning disabilities and mental health care.
5. A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
