Role Description
Allianz has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a hybrid basis at our Ditton Park office. You will be part of the Allianz Specialty Team, focusing on Pet Insurance.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a leading role in organizational change by applying specialized business analysis, change management skills, and disciplined approaches. You will work across various functional domains with stakeholders at all levels, up to board level.
Salary and Location
Salary: Circa £60,000
Location: Slough, Datchet Ditton Park
Pay is based on experience, skills, and location. Salary is part of our total reward package.
Key Accountabilities
* Engage with stakeholders up to executive and board level to define business visions and develop strategies via analyses, feasibility studies, and business cases.
* Apply and develop analysis methods to drive continuous improvement.
* Define and implement the business analysis approach for projects and initiatives.
* Ensure activities align with governance and quality standards.
* Support solution development, testing, user acceptance, and implementation in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
* Mentor and coach colleagues in business analysis.
* Contribute to professional learning through post-implementation reviews and knowledge sharing.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in Waterfall and Agile methodologies for change and systems development.
* Knowledge of industry-standard modeling techniques, including data modeling and BPMN.
* Understanding of change lifecycle concepts for planning, development, and maintenance.
Essential Skills
* Understanding key drivers for change.
* Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry, products, and business models.
* Strong organization, planning, and time management skills.
* Experience with various project methods and their impact on analysis work.
* Experience in high-complexity change initiatives involving multiple change dimensions.
* Understanding of IT systems architecture and their application in business processes.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience in facilitating large workshops.
* Ability to initiate medium to large change projects.
* Competence in business analysis within multifaceted change environments.
* Ability to quickly understand different business domains and stakeholder needs.
Desirable Skills
* Leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
* Stakeholder management experience up to board level.
* Experience working with remote or offshore teams.
