The Company
Our client is a well established international aviation parts supplier, with offices in Hertfordshire, Chicago and Miami.
They support airlines, maintenance organisations, stockists and aviation businesses across the global aviation aftermarket and have built a strong reputation within the industry.
Due to continued growth, the UK office in Hemel Hempstead is looking to recruit a Sales Support / Sales Administrator to support the SVP of Trading and the wider sales team.
The Role
This position plays an important role in supporting daily trading activity and ensuring the smooth running of the sales process.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing day to day administrative support to the SVP of Trading and the sales team
* Collating quotes and market data via telephone and email
* Entering quotes and market information into the company inventory system
* Monitoring market data to help identify usage trends and purchasing opportunities
* Processing sales orders and purchase orders
* Coordinating order shipments and logistics
* Maintaining accurate internal records and documentation
* Responding to customer and supplier enquiries
* Delivering a high standard of customer service
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks within a busy commercial environment.
You will ideally have:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Experience in sales support, sales administration, order processing or similar administrative roles
* A confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A positive and motivated approach to work
