As our businesslooks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a SHEManager to join our Ditton (Cheshire) site, responsible for providing specialist advice and coordinatingthe safe and efficient operation of the site in respect of SHE management andall relevant regulations as required.

1. Strong experience in a similar role within chemical/manufacturing industry
2. Expert in Occupational Health
3. Knowledge of site processes, SHE legislation and industry standards
4. You will be an effective communicator, capable of building effective working relationships and producing a high standard of written work
5. Excellent planning and organisation skills
6. Effective decision making
7. You will have proven record of achieving objectives and targets within previous project management experience
8. Project management qualification would be advantageous
What You’ll Be Doing:
9. Ensure compliance to external SHE standards, regulations and legislation
10. Monitoring and identifying opportunities to make improvements to SHE performance on site and communicating with all employees as appropriate regarding safety matters
11. Maintain a full range of risk control programmes and procedures to minimise risk and manage foreseeable emergencies
12. Ownership and development of the SHE management systems
13. Setting standards for employee competency, maximising the co-operation of staff with respect to SHE issues and managing risks
14. Effectively communicate and influence people at all levels within the site, Group SHE, SHE departments at other sites, auditors, regulators, customers and suppliers
15. Detailed reporting through to presentations on broader SHE topics
