Office Assistant - 20 Hours - Monday to Friday (Trafford)


Job Introduction

What is the role?

As a Cash Office/Admin Support, your role will be dual purpose.


Cash Office

* Process revenue from the sales floor for banking, working with various departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain compliance with cash processing procedures, securing, accounting, and distributing revenue.
* Handle payment tenders and credit card information securely, meeting service level requirements.
* Manage non-POS processes, including gift card management.
* Maintain cash office machinery and escalate defects appropriately.
* Audit and manage bullion.
* Ensure the cash office complies with relevant legislation and security standards.


Admin Support

* Ensure the smooth operation of the management suite and meeting rooms, collaborating with the Manchester PA and store team.
* Prepare the office and kitchen areas for daily use.
* Manage supplies, bookable desks, and support key visits.
* Produce visual presentations and weekly financial reports.
* Coordinate IT support and handle incoming mail.
* Organise catering and support expenditure control.
* Identify and report health & safety risks.


How you’ll do it…

* Confidential, well-organised, and able to prioritise multiple requests with attention to detail.
* Excellent communicator, friendly, and confident in building relationships.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Adaptable, able to work independently and collaboratively, handling changing priorities.

This role requires flexibility, and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.
