Salary: £40,000-£42,000
Role Summary
The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective, compliant and timely delivery of maintenance activities—aligned with SFG20 standards—as well as response works that adhere to statutory legislation and mandatory MoD requirements. This includes ensuring all operations comply with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor supply chain work teams, ensuring competently qualified personnel are assigned and equipped with correct vehicles, equipment and competencies.
* Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and, when required, act as Method Statement Coordinator.
* Ensure task records are correctly entered into the CAFM system, including work in progress, inspection records and completed documentation.
* Maintain compliance with JSP 375, Asbestos Management Plan and Legionella Management Plan, acting as Responsible Person or deputy where necessary.
* Lead full project management under CDM for a range of M&E and B&CE tasks from inception to completion, holding commercial and financial responsibility.
* Act as single point of contact for end‑user issues, resolving complaints, supporting the Helpdesk and coaching teams to meet agreed service levels.
* Coordinate daily site activities, promote a strong safety culture and encourage continuous improvement.
* Manage cost and stakeholder expectations, mitigate contract risk, and support forward maintenance planning.
* Communicate effectively with MoD personnel, end users and internal VIVO teams to deliver contract objectives.
What You’ll Bring
* ONC or equivalent qualification and an HNC (or working towards one) in Building/Civil Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Experience in hard services facilities management, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage KPIs and produce productivity reports.
* Management‑level Health & Safety or Environmental qualification such as SMSTS or IOSH, or willingness to obtain.
* Strong IT proficiency in Word, Excel and related software.
* SC Clearance as a condition of employment.
* Ongoing Continuing Professional Development is desirable.
