Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Support Staff at St Jude's Care Ltd, based in Yeovil. The Support Staff will assist clients with daily living tasks, provide high-quality personal care, and ensure their physical and emotional well-being. Key responsibilities include supporting clients with meal preparation, medication, household tasks, and social activities, while fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. As a Support Staff member, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Qualifications
* Experience in providing personal care and supporting daily activities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
* Organisation and time management skills for handling multiple tasks
* Ability to provide emotional support and create a compassionate environment
* Flexibility to adapt to the individual needs of clients and work collaboratively as part of a team
* Understanding of safeguarding principles and confidentiality in care
* Prior experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided
* A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in health and social care are advantageous
