We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our amazing team based out of Tarmac Birtley in Co Durham. This role is commutable from Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Consett, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Darlington, South Shields, Wallsend, Longbenton and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Internal Sales Supervisor the role of Internal Sales Coordinator will provide a high level of customer service and engagement with stakeholders at all levels. The Internal Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for:
1. Inbound and outbound telephone calls with our customers
2. Raising quotations for aggregate and asphalt materials and negotiating prices with customers
3. Delivery of high levels of customer service
4. Provide a supporting role to the external sales team
5. Managing sales enquiries received via email
6. Meeting performance targets and working to a defined set of KPI's for sales, value added products and telephone calls
7. Working collaboratively to ensure the success of the team delivering a one team approach
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Internal Sales Coordinator will preferably have experience within a similar role effectively handling both inbound and outbound telephone calls with customers. Industry experience is not required.
As Internal Sales Coordinator you will also be/able to:
