Job Description What you'll do This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. For this role, you must have experience in looking after clients with peg feed. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. The client is a gentleman in his early 60s who has a spinal injury and during your day-to-day, you will be monitoring his various clinical needs, which include the following: - Required to manage daily suctioning and manual cough assist. - The management of non-invasive ventilation via Cpap. - The management of bowel care, including manual evacuation. - Perform personal care when required.
