We are seeking a passionate salaried GP tojoin our small friendly team. Burford Surgery is in the heart of the Cotswolds. It is an innovative, highly regarded, and welcomingpractice of two partners and three salaried GPs. We are seeking a salaried GP tojoin our experienced healthcare team. Itis an opportunity to practice medicine with a focuson delivering continuity of care to patients. 6- 8 sessions per week. No weekends or on call commitments after 6-30pm.
Main duties of the job
Routine appointments - Telephone or Face to Face
Duty appointments - urgent on day appointments
Managing correspondence via docman and email
Managing own test results
Point of contact/support for allied health team and administrative staff
Be an active part of the team in terms of attending practice clinical and general meetings.
About us
We are west of Witney on the edge of the Cotswolds but 30 minutes fromOxford.
We have a supportive and educational environment with an open-doorpolicy for discussing clinical issues. An interest in teaching is a bonus- we are a training practice in the Oxford Deanery withyear 6 medicalstudent teaching as well.
We have access to the CCG early visiting service (paramedic can performurgent on the day visits) and urgent appointment hub in Witney.
Lunches are provided for all staff everyday ensuring we have a close,working relationship from all the teams in the surgery.
Six weeks annual leave with supported study leave.
2 purpose-built premises toaccommodate our list size of approx 7500 patients. Both sites are traditionalrural practices and we dispense to.
We are exceptionally highQOF achieving, rated good by CQC and received excellent results from the recentnational patient survey.
Our supportive team is madeup of 3 salaried GPs, ANP, Practice Nurses, ,HCA and phlebotomists dedicateddispensary team, secretarial and reception support.
We actively participate inour local PCN.
We are modernizing oursystems to lessen the paperwork burden for GPs.
Practice areaconsists of numerous idyllic villages in the countryside.
