ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for an Analytical Chemist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Hertfordshire. As the Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of products through rigorous testing and analysis. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Analytical Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Carry out the Quality Control of raw materials, bulk, and finished products using HPLC, GC, and wet chemical techniques.
2. Analyse products to provide stability data for new product development and routine ongoing stability monitoring of commercial products.
3. Perform all manual and automated tests and assays in accordance with GMP to a high level of accuracy and precision.
4. Collect, process, and report data using software packages such as Chromeleon, LIMS, Excel, and Word.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Analytical Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a chemistry-based discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in an analytical testing role, preferably in a GMP environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC and GC analysis.
