The Role:
We are looking for a Damp & Ventilation Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a field-based role carrying out surveys on domestic properties to assess:
* Issues relating to condensation, damp, and mould.
* Existing ventilation systems within the property.
* Compliance with Approved Document Part F of the Building Regulations.
* Recommendations for remedial works, new installations, or improvements.
You will work closely with social landlords, tenants, and our internal team to provide accurate reports and practical solutions that support healthier homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough property surveys for damp, mould, and ventilation.
* Use damp meters, hygrometers, and other equipment to record accurate readings.
* Assess ventilation against current regulations (Approved Document Part F).
* Prepare clear, professional survey reports with recommendations.
* Liaise with tenants and landlords in a professional, courteous manner.
* Ensure compliance with company processes, health & safety, and customer standards.
Qualifications & Experience (beneficial):
* Qualified Damp Surveyor (PCA / CSRT or CSTDB) preferred.
* Knowledge of building pathology relating to condensation, damp, and mould.
* Understanding of Approved Document Part F (ventilation) - Not essential.
* Experience within social housing is advantageous.
* Full UK driving licence required.
