About the Role
As a Junior Kitchen Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Kitchen Manager and leading a talented team of chefs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen.
* Stepping up in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Conducting daily briefings and managing stock control.
* Ensuring food presentation meets our high standards.
* Delivering food cost budgets through effective menu planning.
* Maintaining food hygiene standards and health & safety compliance.
In this role, you will be a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, inspiring your team to deliver unforgettable experiences to our guests. You’ll have the chance to lead and develop a team in our bustling buffet restaurant, serving up to 3,000 guests per service!
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have:
* Experience in a similar role with large volume turnover.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* A hard-working and determined attitude.
* The ability to build relationships with team members and leaders.
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
As a Junior Kitchen Manager, you will also be responsible for:
* Managing margins and controlling costs.
* Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.

Working Conditions
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours, including evenings and weekends. Please note that this position does not come with onsite accommodation.
