We are recruiting for a qualified airline pilot, with a strong passion for aviation safety and data analysis. If you have expertise in flight data monitoring and a desire to enhance safety standards, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Flight Data Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in analysing and reporting recorded data, from our routine flight operations. Your primary responsibility will be to identify areas for improvement and enhance safety measures, through comprehensive analysis.
In this role, you will lead and support safety investigations, respond to requests for Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) information from flight crew and collaborate with the engineering team to analyse event data relating to aircraft limitation exceedances. You will also be responsible for risk assessment, compiling routine safety reports, and presenting detailed fleet trend analysis findings at operator safety meetings. Additionally, you will represent easyJet at industry forums to contribute to the ongoing development of flight data monitoring practices.
What you need to do this role
You will be a fully qualified Airline Pilot with an Airbus A320 type rating and strong experience of easyJet’s operations, routes, and aircraft. You’ll bring a solid knowledge of management systems, flight data monitoring procedures, and data analysis software, alongside a clear understanding of CAP 382, EASA regulations, and strict confidentiality protocols. Strong IT skills are key, ideally with experience in easyJet systems (Safetynet/AIMS), remote working tools (MS Teams, SharePoint), and data analysis platforms (Tableau, Databricks, Python).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential, along with a professional and methodical approach to analysis. Working closely with the Flight Data Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality while adhering to established practices.

Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time 40 hour per week position based in Luton with hybrid options available.
