Senior Analyst/Associate

£80,000/yr - £95,000/yr (depending on experience)
An established digital infrastructure business specialising in the development of large-scale, energy-efficient data centre assets across Europe is seeking a driven Senior Analyst/Associate to join its growing Investment team. With a strong focus on supporting long-term, sustainable growth in the sector, the business offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio with a particular focus on digital infrastructure and real assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, and refine complex financial models to evaluate development projects, acquisitions, and broader investment opportunities.
* Contribute to the full investment lifecycle, including due diligence, site screening, commercial assessments, and preparation of investment committee materials.
* Analyse prospective development sites, considering factors such as power availability, connectivity, zoning, permitting, and construction economics.
* Prepare high-quality presentations, investment memos, and other materials for senior internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain and enhance internal financial and operational databases used for planning and reporting.
* Support strategic initiatives, market research, and ad hoc analysis across the portfolio.
* Collaborate closely with development, finance, legal, and operations teams to advance investment activities.
Skills & Experience
* 2–3 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or similar high-intensity investment environments.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field from a leading institution.
* Advanced financial modelling expertise (DCF, LBO, scenario/sensitivity analysis).
* Experience evaluating infrastructure, real estate, or energy assets; exposure to digital infrastructure or data centres is a strong plus.
* Proven ability to produce polished presentation materials for senior audiences.
* Strong understanding of key financial and operational metrics relevant to infrastructure or real assets.
* Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and research platforms.
* Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Proactive self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to articulate risk–return dynamics.
* Progress toward CFA, ACA, or similar qualification is an advantage.
