The post holder will support the whole complex needs agenda.
Main duties of the job
Under the supervision of the Lead Nurse for Complex Needs you will promote a quality service using research and evidence-based practice including the setting, monitoring, facilitating, and auditing of clinical standards/pathways.You will support improvements in experience and quality of care, for patients with Complex Needs, by supporting a holistic approach to care and ensuring the physical needs of patients are addressed. This is achieved by supporting patients in a planned and unplanned capacity to receive excellent patient experience each and every time.

Job responsibilities
Qualifications Essential criteria
* Registered Nurse. NMC Registration.
* Recognised teaching qualification post-registration qualification or experience of teaching. Independent Prescriber
Experience Essential criteria
* Extensive clinical experience caring for patients with one of the complex needs (Learning Disability, Autism, Dementia, Delirium or Mental Health). Evidence of continued professional development.
* Experience of audit, research, and evidence-based care.
Knowledge and Awareness Essential criteria
* In depth specialist knowledge into at least one of the Complex Needs.
* Awareness of safeguarding agenda and mental capacity act agenda.
Skills and Abilities
* Teaching / assessment skills Organisation and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills. Evidence of audit and change management ability. Computer literate. Ability to motivate self and others.
* Evidence of leading and facilitating change. ECDL. Root Cause Analysis.
