We are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Business Advisory Associate for our clients office based in Perth.
Whether you're part-qualified or newly qualified (AAT / ACCA / ACA / CA / ICAS), this is a brilliant opportunity to grow with a leading SME accountancy and business advisory firm.
We're looking for an Accounts & Business Advisory Associate to join a growing team in Perth. You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide variety of clients, enjoy full study support and be part of a business that genuinely values your development.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing annual statutory accounts and supporting clients with day-to-day accounting
* Helping clients improve their financial processes and offering practical advice
* Communicating with HMRC and handling VAT or payroll tasks where needed
* Taking early ownership of parts of client portfolios with guidance from senior colleagues
* Collaborating with supportive managers and mentors to build your technical and soft skills
* Working towards chargeable time and utilisation goals while contributing to a positive, team-driven culture
What we're looking for
* You're studying towards (or have recently completed) AAT / ACCA / ACA / CA / ICAS
* Some experience and exposure within practice - maybe you're ready for more responsibility
* A genuine interest in helping businesses succeed and a proactive, can-do attitude
* Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a desire to keep learning
